katalog is an international directory of creative people, divided into three categories: Graphic Design, Illustration and Typography. Across continents, from one city to another, katalog highlights a selection of amazing artists and designers, allowing everyone to discover their work.

From 2015 to 2018, katalog also featured interviews and video portraits of graphic design studios. The concept: one studio, one interview, one video. Each studio had the opportunity to present themselves through a short written interview in which they were invited to introduce themselves, but also to give their opinions on current issues related to their field. On top of that, they also appeared in a short video presenting the members of the studio, a selection of works, but also the visit of the workspace. All interviews and videos are still available in the Archives section of the website.

This selection takes on a whole new form on Instagram, through several digital formats.

The goal is to gather different backgrounds to establish a dialogue, a proximity, to offer designers and artists a new visibility. Here, katalog is open to a wide range of disciplines, from design to illustration, tattoo, art or fashion… Each week, we highlight inspiring feeds of creative people around the world, through pictures, short videos and interviews. It allows people to have a quick view on a large number of talents, but also to discover more about their way of working and workspace. We invite creative people to send us their own videos and experiment in the way of introducing their work.

katalog was created by the French art direction studio Arnhem Braun. The project ended in 2023.
